Title: Showroom Host/Admin

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and being the first point of communication for Demetra.

  • Greet prospective customers, introducing Demetra’s brand, products & services. Qualify customer to determine the best course of action to service their needs.

  • Qualify prospective customers and introduce them to appropriate designers/sales team

  • Scheduling of appointments for designers/sales team

  • Assist in sells of non-cabinet products 

  • Assisting designers/sales team to keep track of leads on the CRM system, collecting payments, processing order(s) to the production/fulfillment team; 

  • Checking stock and ordering a limited category of products

  • Coordinating countertop project estimates (including material & installation), ordering material(s) and schedule installation with suppliers

  • Data entry and order tracking 

  • Develop and Maintain IP (industrial professionals) relationship

  • Maintain general tidiness of showroom and displays, stocking showroom supplies;

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

  • General day-to-day operations to keep the showroom running smoothly

Required Skills:

  • Highly organized and task-oriented

  • A self-starter,  punctual and reliable

  • Upbeat, outgoing and friendly personality

  • Strong verbal and written communications aptitude

  • 2 – 3 years of administrative experience, preferably related to the construction industry

  • Basic understanding of construction drawings, terminology, and processes

We’re currently seeking a Showroom Sales Coordinator for our San Jose Showroom.

Demetra Cabinetry is a Bay Area, family-owned and operated provider and manufacturer of premium European style kitchen and bath cabinetry. Demetra Cabinetry is growing quickly and currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a showroom sales coordinator, to provide administrative support to our design/sales team and upper management.

Job Location: San Jose showroom (North)

Work Hours:

  • Tuesday – Saturday

Job Position 1: Showroom Sales Coordinator

Job Position 2: Kitchen & Bath Designer (Dublin location)

We are currently seeking a kitchen and bathroom designer for our Dublin showroom.

Execute interior design elements, including space planning, layout, utilization of furnishings or equipment, color combinations, electrical placement and recommendations, installation drawings, and reconfiguration. 

Execute design concepts, design development, and design communication in order to construct customized spaces and Demetra’s products that are attractive, functional, and meet building and safety code;

Evaluate clients’ needs and provide professional consultation services to clients with regard to interior design related issues including budgets, spatial planning, layout, utilization of furnishings or equipment and color coordination;

 

Create, modify and refine designs to conform to customer specifications, production limitations or changes in design trends; create complete package of construction and cabinetry documents and take projects to completion;

 

Design whole kitchen cabinets, build-in vanities, bath tiles, lighting selection, plumbing fixture (with Green Point), molding, door, hardware, paint color to appropriately convey design concepts;

 

Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD), related software and advanced technology to maximize efficiency in designing projects, create presentations and provide professional guidelines for the designing team;

 

Manage budget, material and work schedule, and coordinate with architects, engineers and plumbing professionals to ensure the success interior designs, and remain current on design and color trends to create fashionable design solutions, and contribute towards the development and maintenance of the team's design portfolio.

The position of Interior Designer requires a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design or a foreign education equivalent.

The working location is: Dublin, CA

Pay compensation is base pay at $40,000 - $45,000 per year, plus Commission.

For the right candidates with industry experience and strong sales skills, there may be management opportunities available.
